Keeping you in the conversation of what's happening at FC!

WALK TO BETHLEHEM - First Christian's Health & Wellness Ministries is pleased to present the Walk to Bethlehem which will give everyone the opportunity to walk the same distance that Mary and Joseph traveled from Nazareth to Bethlehem (86 miles). You will log your miles beginning on November 3rd and ending on December 21st.  You can walk by yourself or sign up with a friend or your family and walk the miles together. If you’re a runner, you can run instead of walk. You can walk outside in your neighborhood, in the church parking lot, on the river front in downtown Newburgh, at the mall, on the walking track at church, on a treadmill or just about anywhere. Pick up a mileage form from Ann Williams, on the tables in the lobby, or at the Welcome Center.  Please contact Ann for more information at

2019 Gobbler Gathering - We are collecting boxes of stuffing for The Evansville Rescue Mission and our goal is 500 boxes. Donation collection bins are located in the lobby.  Last day to contribute is Sunday, November 17th.

NEWCOMER'S LUNCH - Have you started attending FC in 2019? We'd love to invite you and your family to join us for lunch to meet other new families as well as some of FC's leadership. Our next lunch will take place on November 17th, immediately following the morning worship service. There is no cost to you but please register your family at

ADULTS 50 & OVER CHRISTMAS DINNER - If you consider yourself a Senior, age 50 and over, Steve and Julie Robards are hosting a special Christmas Dinner just for you on Saturday, December 7th, at 5:30pm.  We'll gather in the Dining Room for a wonderful pulled pork meal and fellowship with friends.  Cost is $10/person.  Please sign up in the lobby on Sunday morning.

Community Impact - There are many ways to partner with FC to take the Acts 2:39 promise to our community.  Make sure and read through the Community Impact section, visit their page, or head to the booth in the Lobby on Sunday morning for more information on being a part of this ministry.
